HFMA National Healthcare Finance Awards 2016

HCR Services is thrilled to announce it will be judging and sponsoring the prestigious NHS Finance Director of the Year award at the HFMA National Healthcare Finance Awards 2016.

The HFMA National Healthcare Finance Awards celebrates excellence in finance across the four home nations, showcasing best practice and achievement in financial management and governance within the NHS. The awards ceremony at HFMAs Annual Conference in December is an opportunity to celebrate the contribution and success of finance teams across the UK with an audience of nearly 750 guests.

Managing Director of HCR Services, Charlotte Argyle, has said:

HCR Services is delighted to adjudicate the prestigious award of NHS Finance Director of the Year. The synergies between HFMA, their passion to support and assist the NHS financial community and ensure best practice protocol in regards to financial management are ones shared by ourselves. We feel this is singularly the most recognised award in its category for NHS Finance Directors and we look forward to meeting a number of our NHS customers and updating attendees on innovative ways to ensure adherence to all mandates around 3rd-party cost identification, billing and recovery.

HFMA’s awards programme recognises the work of finance teams and individuals from across the UK. The awards cover the fundamental aspects of the finance team role: including the production of the accounts, costing, governance, training and development, as well as the vital area of innovation. Crucially, given the importance of spreading financial awareness outside of finance departments, the awards also focus on the importance of engaging clinicians in financial management.

The HFMA is the professional body for the healthcare finance profession where members get practical resources, insightful thought leadership, support with personal growth, CPD and access to an influential network. They aim to promote best practice and innovation in financial management and leadership across the UK health economy through local and national networks. Their influential role in national policy influence and shaping the wider healthcare agenda plays a valuable role and a conduit to ensure a voice for its members and the broad blend of challenges faced within the NHS.
